Clone an Instance¶
This operation will allow you to clone an instance with a specified unique name. This is useful before updating an instance to avoid any data loss.
Go to the Applications screen
Click on the Clone Instance button from the Actions menu
On click, you will be shown a form with a field to enter a unique name for the instance
Click on Clone
ℹ️ INFORMATION
The instance will be cloned as is. Existing database, application folder, IIS pool and site will be copied. No new data
will be downloaded. The cloned instance will be in the same state as the original instance.
